Harley Davidson Hannover

The exhibition „Myth Harley-Davidson“ is an unique collection of historical Harley-Davidson motorbikes in Germany from the 106-years old history of the brand Harley-Davidson to the current designs. The exhibition has been amassed by a private collector’s passion, Matthias Korte, Harley-Davidson vendor in Hannover, Frankfurt and Wiesbaden.

The exhibition includes in addition to nearly all-built Harley-Davidson engine types which history has been considered by an integrated engine exhibition almost all built Harley-Davidson models, starting from 1918. Lots of motorbikes are in showroom condition (as new). (Originalzustand) Some of which have been lovingly restored.

Starting with a detailed reproduction of the shanty from 1903, in which the brothers Davidson and William Harley have created the first running motorbike the visitors gain additionally insights into the history of Harley-Davidsons by looking at 12 worldwide unique Scene demonstrations in which some of the exhibits have been integrated.

These demonstrations highlight the motorbikes of the 40s, an Elvis Scene, and also bikes from the 50s, together with the motorbike model which was used by Elvis Presley.

For sure, the highlight of each „ Chopper –Fan“ is the „Easy Rider“-Scene, with the two motorbikes from the cult movie, which will be shown as authentic reproductions: the „Captain America“, which has been originally signed by actor Peter Fonda on the tank, together with the “Billy Bike“-model, which was driven by Dennis Hopper in the film.

A further milestone of the Harley-Davidson history is the”Harley-Davidson at the Races-scene”:
here, the interested visitors can find motorbikes which depict the illustrious history: the “Board Track Racer” of 1916s, the XR 750 „Flat Track Racer“ or the current “V-Rod Dragster“ as well.

Together with the updated Harley-Davidson models the “Daytona“- is a highlight of the exhibition. This is a must-see, not only for die-hard Harley fans!
